Changelog

6 Nov 2026 · Live on athletesalary.com

The site is public at athletesalary.com and open to search engines, with a sitemap. The preview address is kept out of search.
Corrections go to [email protected]; every "Correct this figure" link opens the form that writes to it.
Analytics are cookieless (Cloudflare Web Analytics).

The site becomes Athlete Salary, one home for athlete earnings in every sport. Basketball is the first sport and moves under /basketball/; methodology, sources, data, corrections, about and this changelog stay shared at the top level.
The home page lists the sports with data: Basketball on this site and Cycling on our sister site How to Turn Pro. Search covers all of them.
The data model is the same for every sport (athlete, team, competition, country), and an athlete's income is either a salary (reported or estimated) or official prize money.
Basketball figures, sources and methods are unchanged.

First version: 588 basketball player pages, 186 club pages, 19 league pages, players by country, salaries table, budgets, rankings, salary ranges, methodology and validation.
Data drop v1 (research of 31 Oct to 6 Nov 2026): 524 reported player-season figures; EuroLeague stats snapshot of 31 Oct 2026.
Estimates use the residual step: where some salaries at a club are reported, only the rest of the payroll is shared among the other players.
